Makeup lessons need to be scheduled within a 7-day window. You can't reschedule a makeup or transfer it to another student, and they can only be used if you're actively enrolled in our program.
If we need to close the pool for any reason, we'll give you a makeup lesson – no problem!
Charges for tuition are always posted on the first of the month. These charges will be prorated to take into consideration any cancellations you have submitted or closures that we have posted.
It’s normal for children to cry on their first day.
On average, it takes about three classes for a child to start to become comfortable in the water, but it can vary. Once the children become accustomed to their new teacher, environment, and routine, they realize that swimming lessons are fun!
Pulling a child out of class is never recommended. Although it can be difficult for parents, having your child complete the class is the best way for them to overcome their fears.
We have a one-time registration fee that covers your entire family! It's due when you first sign up, and then yearly on the anniversary of your enrollment date (only if you're still actively taking lessons). Camp is also subject for registration fee.
Our standard lessons have a maximum class size of three students, baby lessons have a maximum of six parent & child pairs, semi-private and adult lessons have a maximum of two students to one teacher. Private lessons are one on one.
Please bring swim trunks for the boys and one-piece bathing suits for the girls. Goggles are required for all students and can be purchased in our retail area.
Rash guards and swim caps are optional, though we recommend against wearing rash guards as they restrict mobility.
Please do not wear jewelry in the pool as it can easily fall off and jam our pump system.
Students that are not potty-trained must wear a disposable swim diaper under a non-disposable swim diaper.
We don't offer refunds, but we're happy to work with you to reschedule lessons if something comes up. You're paying for your child's spot in the class, whether they attend or not.
When arriving for your child’s lesson, avoid sending your children to check in by themselves. This allows us to inform you of any changes or charges regarding your lessons and ensures that your child is checked in properly.
Nobody is ever 100% safe in the water. Learning to swim is the best way to improve water safety, but your child should never be left unattended in the water.
A student receives a ribbon once they comfortably master the goals listed for that level. Progress reports are done for the whole school periodically and can be done on request if you would like an update on your child’s progress.
You'll be charged on the 1st of each month based on how many lessons there are in that month. Some months have five lessons, and your tuition reflects that.
We are closed on the following holidays: July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Absolutely! Families with three or more children actively enrolled get a 10% discount on their tuition each month.
There are two ribbons per stage and a total of 4 stages: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Stroke. Once students receive both of the ribbons in a level, they should move on to a class in the next stage to keep the learning process moving forward. They should stay in their current class until a spot can be found, but they will be primarily reviewing skills that they have already mastered.
Unfortunately, there is no time between classes to talk to the instructors. If you have a question for your instructor, you can write them a note and they will have a response for you the following week.
We require a two-week heads-up if you need to cancel lessons. You can let us know by sending a quick email or filling out a form at the front desk.
Of course! You can request a specific teacher, but we can’t guarantee that their schedule will not change. If you can’t find a spot with a teacher that has made a special connection with your swimmer, the front office can help you find someone with a style similar toyour preferred teacher.
If you cancel before the monthly billing cycle of your last lesson, we'll adjust your bill accordingly. If you cancel after the billing cycle, we'll give you a credit on your account that you can use for future lessons
If your transfer means an extra lesson in the month, you'll be charged for it. If it means you have fewer lessons, we'll give you credit on your account!
While we do not have a swim team, we do offer hour long Pre-Comp classes that focus on endurance as well as technique. To enter this program, students must achieve a Stroke 1 ribbon.

Each class lasts for 30 minutes, providing ample time for instruction and practice.

We can schedule transfers up to 7 days in advance.
We love that your little one is enthusiastic! For children under 3, our baby swim classes are designed to provide the most appropriate and beneficial learning experience. Beginner classes are usually geared towards older kids, and the skill level might be too advanced for a 2-year-old. We'd be happy to chat with you and see if there are ways to make baby swim more engaging for your child. Just ask our instructors or front desk staff!
No need to switch classes! Levels within the same stage work together in the same class. Your child will move to a new class when they're ready to move up a stage.
We focus on building a strong foundation of water safety skills. "Water safe" means different things to different people, and we're committed to helping your child develop the confidence and skills they need in the water.
Every child progresses at their own pace, and we believe swimming is an art! We'll work with your child to gradually introduce and refine their strokes.
Our final level is Gold, where students will master all four competitive strokes – freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
