SUTTON SWIM SCHOOL POLICIES
Make-Ups: All participants are eligible to receive one makeup lesson every quarter. To be eligible to receive a make-up lesson, you must notify the front desk before the start of your normal scheduled lesson. All classes that make-up lessons are held in our group lessons regardless of the booking type their class is normally held in and may be scheduled up to one week in advance.
Eating Before Swim: Participants should eat no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the start of their swim class. Eating just before a lesson makes youths more susceptible to vomiting and causing pool closure. If a child vomits or has a bowel movement in the pool more than twice they may be subject to expulsion.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing with two weeks’ notice. Forms are available at the front desk, or you may email info@suttonswim.com with your child’s name enrollment information. Cancellations must be submitted prior to the last day of the month to ensure that your billing for the following month will be prorated. If you submit a cancellation after billing has been processed, you will receive a credit on your family account for any unused tuition, which can be applied towards future lessons.
Low Enrollment: We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Any class with two or fewer students may be canceled at any time with the same 2-week notice we require for your cancellations.
Sick Policy: If your child has a fever is vomiting or has diarrhea they should not come to swim class. If you have already redeemed your quarterly make-up lesson, we ask that you still do not bring your sick child to swim class.
Teachers: Although we strive for consistency, we cannot guarantee that you will always have the same teacher. Pool Closures Sutton Swim School is not responsible for incidents involving pool closures due to power outages or natural disasters.
Supervision: We require a parent or guardian to maintain constant supervision of all children under the age of 18, remaining in the building at all times in case of an emergency. If the parent is not in the building the child will not be permitted to swim.
