Our Facility
Everything is about the kids.
Our mission is to set the standards (not the norm) in safety and cleanliness inside and outside the water.
Pool
The pool was built in 2004 for the sole purpose of teaching proper swimming techniques in a safe, comfortable environment. Our pool size is 30' x 40', and three and a half feet on either end and six feet in the middle, with a comfortable 90° water temperature. The pool has its own air handling system, keeping the air temperature at 87°, with 60% humidity.
Pump Room
After being open for a few years, we noticed that our water quality was changing. While it was still good, we felt we could make it better. After a lot of research, in 2009 we made an $80,000 upgrade to our pump room, ensuring that are water quality was consistently the very best it could possibly be.
Some of the improvements included:
- Atlas Regenerative DE Filter: Used at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney Australia. This filtration system stops 99% of Cryptosporidium (inferior sand filters average only 30% to 60%)!
- Ultraviolet Water Treatment: Ultraviolet disinfection is proven to improve safety against microorganisms, including chlorine resistant Cryptosporidium, and reducing -- if not eliminating -- Chloramines.
- Water Chemistry Controller: Monitors and dispenses Chlorine and CO2 to keep chemistry levels constant.
- C02 Tanks: Switching from Muriatic Acid (Hydrochloric Acid) to C02 to control PH levels.
